Cookies
Cookies
The short version: only what we need to keep you signed in and to let you pay. No ads, no tracking, no banner.

Section 1
Why there's no banner
Most cookie banners exist because the site uses advertising or tracking cookies and the law (Quebec Law 25, the GDPR ePrivacy/PECR regime, etc.) requires asking before setting them. We don't use those kinds of cookies. The only cookies on this site are strictly necessary for the site to function - signing you in, keeping your session alive, and letting Stripe process a payment when you contribute. Strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from the banner requirement under all the regimes we operate in.
Section 2
The full list
Here is every cookie set when you visit antonite-music.com:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase (us) | Keeps you signed in across page loads. Without it you'd have to log in every click. HttpOnly and Secure. | 7 days (refreshes) |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase (us) | Short-lived token used during the email-link sign-in flow to prevent interception. | 10 minutes |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during checkout. Only set when you actually start a contribution flow on a /support/[slug]/contribute page. | 1 year / 30 minutes |
That's it. No third-party advertising. No retargeting. No social-share trackers.
Section 3
What about analytics?
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not set cookies, does not collect IP addresses, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build a profile of you. All it does is increment counters: page views per URL, referrers, country (from IP at request time, never stored), device class.
Because Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, there's nothing for you to opt out of. If you block our analytics domain in your browser anyway, the site still works exactly the same - we just see one fewer visit.
Section 4
LocalStorage and similar
We use the browser's localStorage for one small comfort feature:
- Remembering the last volume you set on the music player.
This is stored on your own device, never sent to us, and you can clear it anytime through your browser's storage settings.
Section 5
How to control cookies
You always control cookies through your browser:
- You can block all cookies - the site won't be able to keep you signed in, and Stripe checkout may refuse to load.
- You can clear cookies for this domain at any time - that signs you out cleanly.
- You can browse in a private/incognito window - cookies are cleared when you close the window.
Section 6
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that isn't strictly necessary (we don't plan to), we'll add a consent banner first, update this page, and email registered users about the change before rolling it out. Until then, what's above is the entire list.
